One of 11 amazing modern designs by Bloomington's only female architect of the 1950-60's, Elaine Doenges. Elaine used strong horizontal lines and recognized the importance of natural light. She integrated the outside with the inside, using natural materials like wood and stone. This is a 1960's time capsule with floor to ceiling windows, floor to ceiling limestone walls and gorgeous wood throughout. This address is the original design with a thoughtful addition that provides another full bath, bedroom, office, 2 car garage and separation. The owners were careful to honor Elaine's vision in the design.
